Small world but I was your age exactly a few years ago and lived in DC and worked in North Bethesda. It's a very easy commute. First, I lived in Chevy Chase, DC and commuted to Bethesda as it was so close. I hated Chevy Chase because it was so boring. My drive was only about 15 minutes. Then I moved to Mount Vernon near Chinatown and the commute was also easy, but longer. It was about 30 minutes to get to work and 45 minutes to get back. I never really cared to live in Bethesda but it is a nice town. It just never appealed to me. You can live in most areas of DC and have an easy commute to Bethesda.
