I live in Arlington and can usually make it out to company clients in the Herndon/Reston area in about 35-40 minutes in the morning and 45-50 in the evening. That is of course barring any major accidents or bad weather, it took me a solid hour and a half to get home last Thursday because of the rain. I use 66 to the Toll Road. Alexandria, depending on the exact location will likely be 10 minutes or so longer.

Not sure about Baltimore...

Rainraven,

A colleague of mine drives I-95 from Kingstowne and can be here at the office in DT Baltimore in an hour, barring any unusual delays. I would assume it would be more time if you are taking Metro/VRE/MARC. When I lived in Silver Spring, the commute on MARC/Metro took over an hour from there to Baltimore Camden Yards.
