We’re beginning to plan our relocation back to the Olympic Peninsula, and will have the option to move most any time of year. What month/season has the most home rentals available in Sequim and Port Townsend? (Houses, not condos or apartments.) We know the climate in different seasons, and we know the area pretty well (lived there 2009-10), just not when (if) the most rental options are. Hadlock, and maybe Ludlow would also be OK, but we’re not interested as far west as PA or south toward Quilcene/Brinnon. Thanks.

We own multiple residential rental properties throughout WA including several in the Sequim/PA area. I would say that in general rental homes are more or less equally available throughout the year. Having said that however, tenants don't seem to like to move as much (if possible) during the holiday season or bad weather winter months. That being the case, you will probably find a few more rental options here during the late spring and summer. If your move plans are flexible, you could have a property management company begin to keep an eye out for a rental home that meets your desired criteria.
