I am not sure where you are from, nor can I provide that much helpful information to you - However, have you tried looking into Provincetown, MA - Way at the end of Cape Cod? It's a very nice area and has some of your required necessities.
Best of Luck!

Hi DemonicAngel. Are you asking about places in Washington state or the U.S. in general?

If the U.S. in general, there is a separate forum for that. Let me know if you want to repost there.

If Washington is where you're inquiring about, then I'm thinking that you won't find everything on your list. I believe you'll have to compromise on at least one of your requests.

Washington state? You may not be getting "alot of sun" in WA state unless you live on the east side of the state. The west side is very wet most of the year.

Well, see, that's the problem ...a lot of sun. That leaves out most of western Washington. But central and eastern Washington will have summer temperatures above 80 degrees at times and will often get below 20 in the winter.

Central and eastern Washington towns in the size range you're looking for are usually more conservative and aren't as gay-friendly as you might want.

Low crime rate and low cost of living sometimes are a difficult combination to find also.

My suggestions probably would be Ellensburg, Wenatchee, Moses Lake, suburban Spokane, or suburban Tri-cities. Again, these areas won't have everything you want but will have more sun than anywhere on the western side of the state.

Maybe Sequim or Port Angeles?

xboxmas has a good suggestion. Sequim and Port Angeles are in the banana belt so they get less rain but still have a fair share of cloudy days ...not as much sun as you'd find on the east side of the Cascades.

But when I think about it, they may be a good fit. Sequim is getting pretty pricy so I don't know if you could call it "low cost of living" or not but meets a lot of your other criteria.

Again, I don't think you'll find everything you're looking for in one location but these two places may come close.

Wink Try this site

You should try
Findmyspot.com
They have a quiz with all sorts of questions about what you like in a town/city from how much you want to spend, to if you like a college town, to what is your political preference. Then it calculates it all up and gives you your top 5 places in the U.S.
Good Luck
