How would you rate the climate of Hammerfest, Norway?

I give it an "F" because of the winters..but have to say that it is incredibly mild for somewhere 70.5 latitude.

A

Great temperatures year-round, numerous days with precipitation, and presumably very cloudy.

The west coast of Norway, not a great place for cold and snow!

F. Terrible, nothing even remotely looking like a summer. Btw only 12 dry days per year? Is that a typo?
Btw the record low is impressive, warmer than much of Europe and USA.

I was reading it wrong, lol.

This gets a 'B' from me now that I realise the average high temperature in January is 28F and not 40F.

I gave it a C, mostly because it looks like some sort of precipitation nearly every day of the year. I like some rain and snow, but that would be really inconvenient. The temperatures alone throughout the year get an A+ from me, though.

F. But the precip. day count - even at the lowest threshhold - looks highly suspect.

Average number of days above 65F - 15! What a great place to live if you absolutely hate wearing shorts or short sleeves outside. And with 353 days with precipitation scheduling outdoor events is super easy - no need to guess because it is almost a certainly that it will either rain or snow on any given day.
