You keep talking about getting snow - how much have you had?
Well, in December we get a snowstorm which dropped around 90 cm, throughout January we've had little snow almost every day, and one major event when 50cm fell, and the snowcover was thickest at that moment. There has also been 20cm in the first few days of February, and a bit more than that is forecasted until next Wednesday.
Overall, this is the snowiest winter I've ever seen in Zagreb.
In other news, currently it's just below zero with moderate snow.
0c snowing in stranraer right at the coast. 4c raining in larne.
Pathetic! Scots get to enjoy a snowy day while we get buckets and buckets of torrential rain all day.
In other news just cecked nw apparently another easterly is coming. Yawn im really really getting sick to the bone teeth of "impressive" easteries which just bring rain and sleet at 2c here. I want a greenland express or an iceland express, face it british isles are just too far west to do well out of an easterly. Well at least anywhere west of leeds is anyway. Tbh.
The 2010 cold spell was a greenland express and i got 5 weka of snowcover and -18c. What have i got out of this easterly? Hmmm let me see. 5 slushy days of snow cover no ice days (extremely late) and -5c. Yes absolute tripe. Lets hope next years better. Then us northern irish can rub it in the south eastern faces. But in ni i cant wait to rub it into carryduffs face- they are the only feckin place in ni to get 6 inches this winter. Usually here in nw we get most snow in ni.
There's no wind involved so it almost feels...nice.
