Some winters aren't bad and we usually get lots of sun (except when we are in the wet years). My ancestors came from the Isle of Barra, Switzerland and Saxony...all colder, harsher areas so I guess being hardy is in my blood. Oh and some great grandparents were from villages around London, England and some were from Ireland (their bit of DNA however doesn't seem to help me though when it comes to endless fricken cloudy days).
