I'm totally bedazzled as to how you at that latitude near almost freezing uppers are getting snow and 3c temps especially at almost May.

It wouldn't be the first time we saw snow in late april/early may around here, don't forget this is a town located at 1000meters.
If it does snow I will post some pics.

Oh well that changes it. For a very short time freezing level is 1200m.

In northern ireland freezing level is 800m through friday to monday.
