Ski resort in Switzerland.

Went here in Dec 2004 - Jan 2005. Loads of snow.

Arosa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

However, it gets an "F" from me.

Definitely a place I'd want to visit but as a climate it gets an F. I can deal with cold, snowy winters. I can't deal with the lack of summers.

A, hits all the great spots:
- Cold enough for a snowy winter, but not much colder than that
- Cool summers

The rainy spring and summer is annoying, which keeps it from getting an A+, but that's my only complaint.

Oh my. F! Way too much rain, and too cool year round. Hottest month barely breaks 60F for the high.

A

Summers are a little cooler than ideal, but I'll take an average July high of 60 F over what my present climate dishes out. Winters look solid.

The summers are very nice and the winters are too mild, but the loads of snow (100+ inches by my estimation) make up for it. It stands out to me as having quite a lot of precipitation for a cold climate, but it's something I wouldn't mind. It's an excellent ski resort climate, but I have to give it a B+. If the snowfall was very high (over 200 inches), I'd give it an A-, but without confirmation I have to give it a B+.

Winters are mild enough, but the summers are far too cool. High precipitation is OK as the majority of days do not see rain or snowfall. I'm tempted to fail this climate for it's non-summer, but the year-round temperatures are borderline tolerable for me so I'll give it an E.

Summers are too wet and cold. If summer was MUCH drier (as in bone dry) then those temperatures wouldn't be as bad. With that much rain I'd like to see minimums in summer averaging at least 61F/16C and maximums averaging at least 77F/25C.

Winters looks pretty good.

As it is this climate gets an E+ from me.
