Which climate would you prefer?

A) Lerwick: relentless, oceanic gloom

or

B) Turpan: a four seasons hot and cold desert

Yet another poll by ABNW.....

I prefer Turpan because of the heat potential and I like the winters in Turpan too but they can have more snow.

Lerwick, because it doesn't want to kill people. Although it could indirectly achieve that through extreme depression.

This. I'd more likely die there by killing myself.

Turpan because it's much warmer, sunnier and very dry year round. It's true that winters can get cold but they are quite short and snowfall is minimal. In fact, if there were accurate measurements, I wouldn't be surprised if Turpan gets way less snow than Lerwick which would seal the deal for me

Even with my preferences that I prefer a big variation, I still think Turpan is crap. Way too dry, way too sunny, and warmth clearly dominates (already an average high of 16 C by March and 26 C by April ) I bet April and May feel really hot there.
