Here is a way 5 climate battle on the tropical to tundra scale. I purposely excluded continental climates, any climate with a dry season, and pseudo humid subtropical climates that get regular snow every winter so please no comments about how you want hot summers and snowy winters , etc). You gotta choose from my menu or not post at all. Sorry.

A) Singapore: tropical rainforest
Singapore - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

B) Sydney: my ideal subtropical climate
Sydney - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

C) London- oceanic climate
London - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

D) Juneau, Alaska: maritime climate
Juneau, Alaska - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

E) Barrow, Alaska: tundra climate

My personal rankings
Sydney: A+
Singapore: B-
London: C-/D+
Juneau: F
Barrow: F-

Sydney by far.

Though it's not an epitome of a Cfa climate, Brisbane would be.

Juneau for real winters without getting way too cold as in Barrow.

I agree. Unlike Syndney, Brisbane maintains humidity with hot temperatures.

I doubt you would see a day like this in Syndey:

Winter = Juneau with 3~4°F higher maximum/3~4°F lower minimum (greater diurnal variation)
Summer = Sydney with 3~4°F higher maximum/3~4°F lower minimum (greater diurnal variation)

If I had to choose one then probably between London or Sydney depends on my mood.

Juneau for the whole season is too depressing even I personally like overcast conditions.

Juneau for best balance btw cold+snowy winters and mild summers; Barrow hardly has a summer to speak of...

Neither are ideal, but Sydney is the closest.
