Iaitii at 44N has a subarctic climate (Dfc) with cold to very cold winters and mild summers, influenced by it's 875 m (2871 ft) mountain location. The mountains uplift moisture from a lake to the northwest, which fall as heavy snow. It is also a variable climate with lots of surprises, be it a mild day in January or a snowstorm in July. Precipitation at 1,498 mm annually is spread fairly evenly through the year, with frequent heavy snow in winter, and heavy rain is common in other seasons outside summer, but it clears quickly after raining or snowing leading to a moderate sunshine total of 2,304.1 hours. Extremes range from -38 C (-36 F) to 38 C (100 F), although normally it doesn't go below -26 C (-15 F) or go above 30 C (86 F).
E; you can't grow anything there due to the lack of a frost free season. Average temperatures seem similar to Anchorage but you need more sunshine year round with at least 3 months to be guaranteed nights to stay above freezing.
D: temperatures are almost identical to where I live (and they suck), snowfall is too high, but the high precipitation and moderate sunshine hours save it from a F.
F goes only to very cold, very hot and/or very dry climates
Winters are nice, Summers are great, Nice precipitation and amazing snowfall, I like the sun but winters need to be gloomier
