Combine your coolest summers, warmest winters, and the highest number of thunderstorms each month and you got an A- climate. I give this one a B

D-, bordering F. Still bad. Winters are pleasant, which is its only saving grace. Summers are outrageously hot (only made slightly tolerable by the lower humidity versus subtropical climates), and as ever the lack of precipitation is unacceptable.

Here you go but this won't have the precipitation days.

PHX Cold 2001-2016

If you want I'll do the warmest months of all time and the coldest months of all time for Phoenix.

It wasn't very stable in July 2012, we had 4 days 110+ on one end and 4 days in the 90s on the other, the coolest high temp was 91

Sure, as my warmest month post said, the hottest Jan, Mar, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep and Oct all occurred in the last 15 years (03,04,01,13,09,11,01 and 03 respectively).

Side note, I would be suprised if any of the coolest of all time occured after 1971 (last year to date that we set multiple record lows)

Do you want a separate thread for that? Anyway I used the PHX area station not the airport station as there was data from the 1800's from the station I used. Interestingly if the months were part of one year then it would probably be the first year there were no average highs in the hundreds.

Here are the months though with the reported number of freezes, 80°F+ days, and 90°F+ days.

PHX Area Cold 1896-2016
January 1937 17/0/0
February 1939 4/0/0
March 1897 3/2/0
April 1967 0/10/0
May 1917 0/22/7
June 1965 0/30/27
July 1912 0/31/28
August 1918 0/31/28
September 1912 0/30/27
October 1916 0/20/0
November 1922 1/1/0
December 1911 18/1/0
