Thunder Bay is one of my favorite Canadian climates east of the Rockies. Only downside (and it is not a major one) is it is not sunny enough for my tastes. 2,168 hours is still respectable, especially for the location. It gets an A- from me.

Of course it's your favorite because it is one of the warmest

Not bad C+

FYI it's 2,168 sunshine hours is equivalent of about 2,350 hours in the US,
as sunshine stats are recorded differently in Canada, with different thresholds.
So if you compared Canadian sunshine data with US data either add about 200 hrs to Canadian
sunshine hours or subtract about 200 hrs from US data for a more accurater comparison.

That being said, Thunder Bay's closest US city, Duluth, Minnesota is still slightly sunnier.

None too thrilled with Duluth's climate. Thunder Bay, farther north yet, makes me even less entusiastic.

Excellent climate, just a little too sunny for my tastes.

No sir, I don't like it. Okay summers but very long, very cold winters. I suspect the name is a misnomer as well (probably not that many thunderstorms) but I might be wrong, in which case I would give it an E+ rather than an E.

E. Not unlivable but I'd be really unhappy if I lived there.

E, just a horrible climate.

Canada is just a really awful place when it comes to nice, warm climates.

The best Canadian climate is probably a D+.

Normally these sort of places get a low D from me. But I gave it a C because the name Thunder Bay is pretty awesome
