Santa Cruz.

Physically, I wouldn't say it's in Europe. Geographically, it's pretty much part of Africa.

I would've compared Nicosia and Valencia (now this has a warm winter and it's literally in Europe).

Physically (or technically if you will), Santa Cruz is in North Africa. It is part of the African continent or plate.

Anyway, I'd choose Santa Cruz.

Nicosia sucks, cool with lots of cold rain in winter and extremely hot and immensely muggy summers.

Santa Cruz is one of the best climates of the world.

Although some parts of the southern coast of Cyprus have A climates. But Nicosia is a E for me.

Nicosia for being more interesting. Winters are cooler, summers are hotter and it's less stable.

Both are too hot and too dry.

I vote for Santa Cruz for less hot summers.
