^^ Well, I'd definitely like to experience that, since back when Zagreb had similar heat the dewpoints were at 10c, but I wouldn't like at all actually having to live there for the duration of the heat+humidity, sleeping would be impossible.
Anyhow, it's 22c and sunny here at 18:10, but it feels much colder. Must be the northeasterly wind.

And that is the major difference between most European heatwaves and heatwaves that occur in the US east of the Central Plains. We get that Gulf Coast humidity which puts our heat on a whole other level. Lets face it, 35C and 10C dew points is nowhere near the "feel" of 35C with 24C dew points. Plus it's more difficult for air temps to reach high levels when there is do much moisture in the air.

It's not fun at all.
Right now here it is 29c with a dewpoint of 24c... I don't like it humid. I can't even do anything I want to outside until this evening because it's too damn humid.
18c and clear at 20:33, but getting cloudy. 26mm of rain fell today, much more than the forecasted 3mm, and heavy rain will fall all day tomorrow, with forecasted amounts of more than 100mm in some spots around Rijeka and more than 50mm around Zagreb.
I'm very happy for my lilac trees, they look reborn less than a day after the rain started.
