Manaus easily.
It isn't even that hot. Record high is only 100 F.
Palm Springs has an average high over 100 F over 4 months a year.

Definitely Manaus. It's actually quite nice from June-Oct, while Bergen is vile all year. 2C and heavy rain for months is as bad as it gets, rather have 28C and thunder any time.

i like Bergen's summers but bergen is home of cold rain, instead of snow, in the winter, and cloud. C-/D+
Manaus has the heat (and temp similarity to most of lowland Indonesia), but Manaus isn't that sunny either. Manaus = Pekanbaru!!! The sunshine hours, temp, precip are somewhat similar. (C-/D+)

Tie.

Manaus.

The July record low is odd.

91ºF/32.78C with 79% humidity is a heat index of 116ºF. That's bad, real bad...

That's an average of the whole month. Does not occur with the highest temperature.

91F average high with a monthly average humidity of 79% equates to exactly the same as July & August in New Orleans.

Was gonna say Bergen but then I looked at the stats and realized it is even worse than i thought... 1187 hours of annual sunshine, really ?!!? Also their month of July is like october here with twice more precipitation days and rainfall. Thanks, but no thanks. I understand how they could create black metal there.

I'd say Manaus is better but it's like saying it's better than a hot dog with poop all over it. Would be boring after a month.
