If "tropical nights" are 20°C/24°C that's ok for me. That's ideal as soon as it is not 30°C...

Maybe 50 or so, distributed about 8 in June, 18 in July, 16 in August, and the other 8 in May and September.

I would like 5 to 10 per year, they feel nice sometimes.
My hometown has an average of 1 of such nights per year, Faro in the South has 24.8 per year, that would be a bit too much for me.

90 days or less I could tolerate provided it very rarely got above 25C, though 30 days or less is ideal and preferably not too humid either.

Chicago Midway airport averages 28 nights of 70F/21C+. I wouldn't mind 50.

I'd like to sleep comfortably, but I managed this year most of the time. Handle: 6-30. I guess a few are nice for variety, but they are often terrible for good hiking or biking weather.

I can handle however many 20C+ nights are thrown at me, but I voted for 180 days.

Lows of 20C are nothing though, not oppressive by any means.
