Kennewick, Washington - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Philadelphia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What climate do you prefer overall? The temperatures are mostly pretty similar though Philly is a bit colder in the winter and has considerably warmer summer nights and marginally lower highs. Rainfall scheme is completely different as Kennewick has a dry-summer nearly arid rainfall pattern and Philly is consistently wet throughout the year. Philadelphia gets a lot more snow but neither cities are particularly snowy.

Kennewick's climate would feel more mild overall but it's also extremely dry. Personally I'd say Philadelphia's appeals to me more. I prefer muggy heat over dry heat even though I dislike both and Philly has a more satisfying winter and a lot more greenery.

I agree. Kennewick is kind of a crappy climate. Oppressively hot and sunny summer days and a weak winter that is fairly cold but very lacking in snow.

They're very close, but I pick Philly for the higher precipitation and warmer nights (overall).

Philly is colder in the winter, gets a lot more snow and rain, and doesn't cool down at night in the summer....Kennewick wins this one handily.

Kennewick. Been there, and been to Baltimore (same as Philly weather). Eastern Washington is MUCH nicer. Eastern humidity sucks.

I agree.
Kennewick climate is amazingly good for it's latitude, compares favorably
with much farther south similar climates like Grand Junction, Colorado or Farmington, NM.
