Zagreb - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is my climate and it would get an A- if everything was like the average, but it's been warmer lately, and I've attached the 2000-2012 average. From me, it gets a B+ because of the too warm summers and a little too low precipitation.
Thunderstorms occur on 25-35 days a year, mostly in spring and summer.

B. A better version of Freiburg. Summers are warmer in Zagreb, winters are slightly warmer up here.

If January and February would be a bit colder and if adding 300 sunshine hours it would be an A+++++++++.

Still one of the best there is. A-

Very similar to NYC in terms of temperatures. Maybe not NYC itself but some of the suburbs for sure. I like the summers in Zegreb - they could be a couple of degrees warmer but at least they don't seem very humid or muggy. Winters on the other hand seem way too cloudy and gloomy. So on balance it's about the same as NYC, with slightly better summers and somewhat worse winters. Another drawback (which it shares with NYC) is that winters are slightly too cold and long. I don't like it that it can snow in April.

I'd grade it a B-.

It's not a terrible climate but still it's much to cold in the winters and not enough sun year round(especially in winter) so I give it a C

Snow is virtually unheard of in April.

Even if it says a snow day, with an average high of 16.4C, a monthly mean of almost 11C and a record low of -4.4C, I think it's quite rare to get snow, during the latter half probably virtually impossible. Maybe ksolina can inform us on the matter.

And an odd slushy night with sleet on April fool's day is not likely to ruin the whole month of April. I think you're being a bit too harsh.

The average high has actually got a bit warmer in the last few decades (the picture that I attached), and it's about 18c now.
So yeah, snow is virtually impossible.

Yeah, thanks for that, btw. I did the same thing for Helsinki based on the years 2002-2011 and found similar results. It's getting warmer.
