Lake Walrus has a subarctic climate, with bitterly cold and long winters, cool summers and often changeable weather. Snowfall is very heavy, not melting until 3 August on average. Record cold years have seen snow persisting all summer.

Winters are too cold and snowy even for a chill lover like me, and summers are not warm enough to make up. If you bump the high temperatures up by 10-15 F and RETAIN THE SAME LOWS, I would give it a B.

This is A material, just the right amount of snow and sunshine. Springs and summers are good too, though fall is a bit mild.

Too cold, too much lag. July would be interesting for the warmth with snow cover, but having snow cover throughout the warmest months is not something I want to have.

Edit: voted C-.

Very interesting climate. The summers look pleasant and would probably feel warm because of the diurnal range and the cold winters that precede them. The amount of snow would be great for skiing.

I like the quality of the winter, but it is just too long! I love the dark winter, and sunny summers, but the summers are slightly too cool and short for my liking (2 degrees warmer, and it would be perfect).

E. Winter is simply too cold, would have to dress very varm to go outside and no thaw for months...spring and autumn also too cold, but July and August looks nice.
Possible permafrost in that climate, complicating everything for those living there. The large amounts of snow would help to insulate the ground, but not sure it that would be enough with 7 months of winter with very low temperatures for 5 months.

51% / E-. Winters are far too long. I would not like snow on the ground for 10 months of the year. Would prefer the snow melted by mid April.
