Kennett, Missouri - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kennett is located in the bootheel, the mildest and least snowiest climate area in the state, but also the wettest. A- for me, southern Missouri including Springfield and even as far north as St. Louis is ideal.

Awful winters, neither here nor there, too warm summers and it's too sunny. D-

C-. Summer maximums are a bit warmer than I like.

Certainly not very snowy, given the winter average minimums. Places around here with those minimums would see more snowy days.

Ouch, probably the worst climate in Missouri. I'd give it a D. Places like Kirksville or Chillicothe get a C from me.

B-

If it was a little drier, with warmer minimum temperatures, a warmer January, and had a higher hardiness zone (8a, at the least), it'd be close to perfect.
