Hello, I'm new to this forum and I'm from Ethiopia. I guess my first post is a climate battle
Here's the climate data and they are both from the year 2003 and they are official

Addis Ababa

Bahir Dar

The rainfall in Bahir Dar normally isn't this random and it is slightly more gradual. Nov-May was a drier period than normal, particularly May, but it was overall 200mm wetter than normal

I pick Addis

Welcome to this forum

I choose Addis Ababa, i'm no fan of the heat, so I probably wouldn't be able to stand Bahir Dar from Feb-May, and on top of that, there was no rain in that period of time

But the rain in Addis Ababa also ruins the perfect two months

Addis Ababa for being milder and having cooler nights. The other one's too hot. But they're both horrible for lacking a proper winter.

Welcome .

I chose Addis Ababa for cooler winters and more comfortable year round.

I would also guess that both cities are at considerable elevation with Addis Ababa being slightly higher.

July and August would be the pleasant time for me, despite the rain and cloudiness

Addis Ababa. It's more cooler.

Bahir Dar is too hot all year round.

Welcome TheAbyssinian.
I choose Bahir Dar, since it has a real summer with "warm" nights.

Addis Ababa has a very similar annual mean to Sydney, the nights are slightly cooler due to its altitude

Addis Ababa, it's very nice and comfortable year round, unlike Bahir Dar which is too hot most of year. Addis Ababa would be one of my most favorite climates on Earth if I didn't like snow.
