Most on here are weather buffs and I'm sure you watch the Weather Channel or look at weather maps. Well, I thought you should know about a new museum in the making in Lake Charles, LA. It will be called the National Hurricane Museum and Science Center and the structure itself will be hurricane proof. They purposely chose a location in hurricane alley, where hurricanes frequently hit. It will be around a 2.5 hour drive from New Orleans. Will any of you be planning to visit this upon completion?
