Greenhouseville is a semi-fictional climate based on real temperature observations over a year and some extrapolations and assumptions to cover a 30-year span. This little town is located in a solar-heated, single-layer, plastic-covered greenhouse at 52 N in the Canadian Prairies. Precipitation is obviously minimal. Ventilation is provided between the months of April through October whenever the greenhouse temperature rises over 21 degrees C, but of course it will always be hotter than the ambient temperature outside.
D since it's dry. It would be a B+ if it wasn't too dry and had some wind to keep the air moving around and humidity down some. Temperatures are good except for the daily range being a bit high (Jan-Apr) and the record highs are higher than I'd like in all months. Record lows are nice.
F. Winters are extremely cold, nights are chilly to freezing all year round and diurnal range is too high. Record lows are terrible.
