what cities in the us, have low humidity mild summers?
i could deal without winters, if that was a possible combo? but i am from the upstate new york area so long cold bone chilling winters with heavy snow was imbedded in my brain my whole life
with that being said, if you have to have a winter to get the low humidity mild summer i wouldn't want a flat slab of concrete to rot away in the cold, if i have to have winter i would like a city with mountains for snowboarding and hiking

Maybe Phoenix, or Tuscon Arizona? This is less expensive than California, was a good 'buy in' a few years back.
Psalm Springs California is hot and dry, and San Diego to Santa Barbra California is more humid, yet does not feel like the southern east coast.
