Sapporo, although somewhat too cold it has a more interesting climate than Beijing, prefer cold and snowy to cold and dry.

Sapporo due to nicer temperatures in both summer and winter, and due to having less sunshine and more snow.

Without question, Sapporo. I'd love all that snow. Beijing is not nearly snowy enough for me. Sapporo is nicer in the summer as well.

Sapporo - Cloudier, cooler, and more precipitation. The winters are perfect. Summers are a little warmer than ideal, but tolerable.
