Kingscote, South Australia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Located on an island off the southern coast of Australia, very mild and well-moderated by the ocean and fairly dry too. Sunshine hours (at a cursory estimate) probably no lower than 2450-2500.

F, too warm and drier than I like and don't like the low latitude.

Give this place a solid B to maybe a B+. Can't give an A because I know the surrounding waters must be too cold for swimming, and probably also keep the temps moderately low. Also insulates in the winter and at night, so moot point I suppose. Still, lot of sunny days, low pre-cip numbers, and good average temps. I'm interested!

C. Good precipitation pattern, not much rain, presumably plenty of sun. Doesn't get a B because summer highs are very cool for that latitude, despite the odd 40C day. They are barely warmer than London's on average.

C-

Winters too gloomy, cool and wet. Summers are pleasant though.
