There's longer shadows right now compared to June mid-day. And it gets dark noticeably earlier too.

Peak sun angle today is about 74.7 degrees. It'll be down to about 72-73 degrees by month's end.

Alex, you must be going insane living in a near-tropical location as a cold lover. My maximum sun angle is currently 41.6°, about to drop below your December minimum. Is moving to Alaska out of the question?

Honestly I don't mind the summers here that much as I feel summer SHOULD be hot, but summer drags on way too long! October still well within summer here. I go nuts during winter though, especially when we have long bouts of above normal weather. I would love to go to Alaska during winter.

Btw have you ever created a fictional dream climate? I would love to see it if you have.

I'm not much into fictional climates, seems like an exercise in futility to me. I currently like Fairbanks.

Have you ever looked at Umiat, Alaska's climate data? The climate there is pretty epic.

Looks good to me. I need a few months of 70°F weather to appreciate the cold that much more the rest of the year, a tundra climate like Barrow would be too much. Coldfoot is also a nice one.

Coldfoot gets an insane amount of snow considering how cold it is!
