Don't typically do summer hikes unless it's a taller mountain with cooler air...

I might be going hiking up Algonquin at the end of the month. (2nd tallest in NY in the Adirondacks) Can't wait. 10 hours of driving for 8hrs of hiking.

Been there already so I'm somewhat familiar with it. But if the temp is over 70F I'm not. Nothing worse then getting to the top after a hard hike and you got the strong sun beaming down on you and uncomfortable temps. Hoping it's 50s at least.

Fresh harvest today on the right but can you spot the 1 pound tomato? (Porterhouse).
Time to preserve and enjoy garden fresh homemade sauce over the winter months.
