Went to Mont St Michel today. The weather was perfect. Hands down the most romantic place I've ever been to.

^^ You're spending part of the summer in Paris again?

Nice pics. My favorite is the "corn getting tall" one, very summery-looking. Reminds me of some blockbuster from a few years ago.

Is 70°F cold for rivers in summer there? I took a bath in 56°F water last week, though with a wetsuit. I expected rivers to be warmer in the nearby Alps. Sea temps back to 80°F where I live.

Scorchio! Dp around 73°F.

Nimbocumulus?

Spoiler

Big yucca

Stone pines make for a nice canopy. The thermometer didn't drop below 28°C at Nice airport that night.

Fair weather, though the forecast calls for showers in the afternoon

Began to hear thunder about an hour later.

Sunshower

A few pictures from last night's walk, taken in suburban Kingston next to the river. Time was around 9pm, temperature 23c.

I love Kingston, just a short drive up the A3 from Portsmouth, so used to go there quite a bit. I can almost hear the parakeets screeching as they fly back to their roosts

They look a lot like the river here. Similar riverside paths and buildings. Very pretty.
