Is there proof that living in countries with sunny warm climates like Australia or the lower United States better for your health?

It sure wouldn't be bad for my health...lol. I'd LOVE to live in a cool, "gloomy" climate like the UK.

And if I did live there, I'd be one of those nuts on Netweather complaining that 22 C is too hot...lol.

Well, for me it would. The UK has 3 seasons Spring,Fall, and Disaster (meaning cold but no snow)

Yes - Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). THere have been many studies done with people who are sensitive to the lack of sunshine, especially in northern latitudes. And the incidence of Vitamin D deficiency is much higher in northern latitudes, as well.

wait, I thought there was more chance of developing skin cancer in Australia because it was way too sunny for white people...

Actually lack of sunshine is known to cause depression in many. More sun more happiness

Are there more suicides in Washington State or Michigan than in Arizona ? Or in PEI compared to Alberta ?

No, they are not. They are very good for your health because it's difficult to develop frostbite or heatstrokes in the UK
