Gibraltar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Looks like a nice climate IMO.

Perfect amount of precipitation for me, would like it more yearly dispersed though.

Solid "B".. very nice mild winters with warm to hot summers. Quite sunny also. It's interesting as well that the Wiki article says it's "Subtropical mediterranean"... It's really got me thinking whether they really are mutually exclusive...

Very pleasant climate, a B here, like most Mediterranean climates, really.

Possible A-, but probably a B+

Great winter lows, highs are good too. Summer is alright.

I believe this site's version of the sunshine, not Wikipedia's - temps and rainfall seem to check out though.

B/B+ - nice temperatures, winter rainfall a bit high for my preferences. Sunshine still quite good at 2628 hours.

Romps in an A, this one.
For a Mediterranean climate, which I prefer, this is up there.
Seasonal lag tends to happen in all Med climates, for some curious reason.
Minimums are slightly high, but this is more the fact that it is an island climate. Record highs would most likely be low as well.
Overall, a highly liveable and desireable climate.

Looks pretty good to me. I'd give this location a B.
I would like little bit more rain and slightly warmer summer maximums.
Sea temperatures are good for going to the beach for swimming and sunshine hours are great.

Very nice. I give it an A- (or a B+ if RWood's claim regarding sunshine is correct).

Very nice and mild. SSTs are markedly lower than much of the Mediterranean, which would alleviate summer humidity.

Amazing that my regular location almost has much sunshine as Gibraltar (4/5 hours in D/J) compared to Gib's 5/5.

Anyway, I rate it an A

As R Wood has pointed out, I can't imagine that Harrisburg, PA has near the amount of sunshine as Gibraltar. I think diff methods of measuring sunshine is reflected here. I'd say if one were to adjust the numbers to accurately compare, Harrisburg is probably 2300 to 2400 to Gibraltar 2628. Do you really believe that the southern tip of Spain gets the same sun as south central PA? No way.
