I rate this a D-: there's not a reliable comfortable season, but it's not as bad as many other climates like Yellowknife and Phoenix, so it's not an F. I think "four season climate lovers" would like this

Huron, South Dakota

I'll speak for deneb since I have similar preferences to him. It's too cold for too much of the year and summer is like July only

So, only ≥30 °C (86 °F) average monthly highs is "summer"?

This climate isn't humid enough to have a good summer anyway, nights are too chilly.

It's not as dry as California, and afternoon temperatures themselves are hot (comparable to Singapore's). It's true that it's not really wet, but if it was, temperatures would have been cooler. I thought this was a good compromise for people who want both cold and hot weather in the same place. But if some people prefer more humid summers, that's alright

I think where I live is a good compromise for people who want both cold and hot weather in the same place. Humid heat especially.

For me I think more than 26c is summer. 15-25c is spring. 0-15c is winter. Less than 0c is Antarctica

Are you talking about Lexington? I don't think it's any "better" than Huron, summers are about the same as Huron's, while winters are much warmer. I think Huron's more "complete" (not that I like it).
