I wouldn't say the coldest winters because that's not completely true as it brings our warmest winters also. More accurate would have been to say our wildest winters.
Seems like at this point the La Niña is not a matter of "if" but "when" but my question is, "Will it end our Southern California coastal warm epoch?" Will summer of 2016 be more similar to the summer of 2015 or to the summer of 2010 for us? NOAA calls for above average temperatures at our coast this coming summer so is it possible that our warm epoch remains even though the Equatorial Pacific cools to below normal?
