Those are the figures for London, England? Global warming must really be kicking in if it's average July high is 24C. From the metoffice website I remember it being only 22C with a low of 12-13C.
This is the hardest one yet. London definitely has nicer temps, but the difference is close enough for sunshine to be the decider. A point (one I overlooked) raised in the DC vs London poll was how well cold tender plants could survive. On that basis London wins, although it feels odd not choosing Vancouver for it's significant sunshine advantage. I guess sometimes in life, we have to make hard calls.
Tough call, but I pick Vancouver since they receive more precipitation than London. They're also more prone to snow and cold in the winter which is a plus.
There's nothing in it really. If I had to choose I'd go for Vancouver because of the more reliable sunny, dry (noticeably so compared to the rest of the year at least) summers. Presumably over there the grass never goes brown as sometimes happens here with their winter rain. I don't mind rain in winter so much.
Vancouver. Sunshine trumps the rest, but not much of a margin.
