Nowdata days 317 so my estimate was just 0.3 days off. For my ideal, I checked some places in southeast Colorado which are very close to my ideal climate to get a better idea and I realized 6-8 is way to low. I'll go with about 40 as my ideal amount of snow depth days.

On a good year we could have snow on the ground for a solid month or two, but I've noticed that this is less and less true. It comes for a few days and it's gone. Then it comes back and is gone again.

My ideal would be two feet on the ground from November 1st through April 1st. Jump for joy, clap clap.
