After the Simushir thread, I went north a bit and found this one, which I think might just have the cloudiest summers by percentage of possible sunshine of any inhabited place on earth.
Latitude just over 50N, 61 hours of sunshine in July, 66 in January. Incredible. September and March are actually the two sunniest months. Unlike Simushir, this one actually does qualify as a polar climate. Winters aren't too bad, cold but not too cold with lots of snow, but the summers.. The summers are atrocious!
F! Similar latitude as Southampton and yet these temps Ridiculous climate! Can't believe that I'm here eight degrees further north complaining about 3C April highs when I have a summer to look forward to in spite of being 9 percentage points closer to the North Pole than that place! Unbelieveable.
Wow, that place has ridiculously cold summers for the latitude. Also not a fan of the giant seasonal delay (September warmer than July?!, wtf) I give it a D-
D: The winter is decent with good temperatures and snowfall. However the lack of sunshine and an abominable summer bring the grade down. The seasonal lag doesn't help the grade as well.
