I just spent around 4-5 hours pinching together the varenyky (pergoies) - with my sister, off & on as my mother prepared the dough & potatoes. And they started before me since I worked a half day at work. Made a massive number this year.. at least 300. If I remember correctly, it was, like, half of that last year. Which makes sense. My mom made 10 pounds of potatoes this year, only one 5 last year. Hosting Christmas Eve tomorrow and definitely looking forward to it.
4G is bliss! All my ADSL providers in the past have been garbage, dial up speeds half the time and dropouts. Buffering was an epidemic. Because of my living arrangements I am using the data in my mobile phone plan, 15 GB for $50, not bad. 3rd time I had to change plans in a year because they keep trolling us with better plans just after you signed up to their previous offer, and they certainly did not make it easy. I still need more data though!
I'll be getting wireless NBN as soon as I can afford it.
I use 4G as much as I can when I'm out and about, and I'm going to upgrade my plan soon because I've only got 1.5GB on my phone at the moment.
Ever have a traditional American Christmas dinner?
Certainly not, per se.
I'm glad Christmas Eve is on a Saturday this year. I've gotten lucky with work and not having to work that day in years past. I hate that! It's because that day just doesn't have the same significance for Anglos. They don't celebrate it. It's strange to me.

We celebrate Christmas Eve in my family (after work). Christmas Day is kind of blah.
