Here it's government policy to say "tjugohundrasjutton" (this year) as opposed to "två tusen sjutton". I only started to use "tjugohundra" when it got 2013 because earlier it didn't make much sense tbh.

Tvåtusenett
Tvåtusentolv
Tjugohundratretton

Etc!

"god" isn't anything existing. Still some people refer to that. What's the difference?

Wow. Snapple Apple is my favorite flavor. I had to force myself not to buy a case at the supermarket this morning.

Most of the immigrants from Southern Europe in France are not recent immigrants. The vast majority (90 per cent) went to France in the 50, 60, 70's. The main destinations for Southern Europe are now the UK, Switzerland and Germany. France has little appeal nowadays.

I am so confused this morning.

A cold spell (quite cold and snowy imo) is progged for the UK.

When I sign on to Netweather, I see some members discussing the potential snow/cold, then I see other members contraditing this, referring to how the cold spell will only produce a few "sleety flurries". Which is it? Are we going to be inundated with snow or are we going to have a slush fest?

For me, this kind of airmass usually brings decent volumes of snow and cold so I am perplexed at the pessimistic comentary.

Not as appealing as northern Europe, but still thousands of Spaniards and Portuguese move to France every year.

Loads of Spaniards, Italians and Portuguese in the UK. It's sad that they'll find it harder to move here when we leave the EU because I think they contribute a lot to our country and I love seeing and hearing them while out and about. I bet most Brits would be find if we had open borders with places like Spain and Italy.
