Unfortunately both liberal and conservative governments have supported them. Ultimately economic performance is what a government is judged upon. Saudi Arabia is wealthy, and a strong relationship with them is important in that regard. But it still disgusts me. This is a medieval regime that treats women like animals, and they still behead homosexuals in town squares, yet the mainstream media overlooks these things.
All Western nations will continue to support Saudi Arabia. Money speaks louder than words.

It's just a cultural trend. Coffee is definitely more popular with young people than tea, at least from what I've seen.
Hipsters are law-abiding and usually have good jobs. Chavs are just useless and contribute nothing of value to society.
It's a good place to work if you like money though. I enjoyed my time there, and had no problems whatsoever.
I know people who've worked there, it sounds great. But they do often relax customs for visitors, I would not like to be a typical resident there. Not too long ago a young Wesh Muslim girl was locked in a cage by her Saudi father, and the law couldn't protect her, I'm sure she's still there.
Yeah the leftists want foreigners to be able to vote so why not arbitrarily appoint you? Would expose them as hypocrites deluxe champagne version if they'd oppose you! I'd wave the racism card everytime!
I agree with foreigners in the UK being able to vote, but I'm much less certain about expats voting, given they no longer live here. Seems unfair that they get to decide an election that doesn't impact them.
