You could've been born there though, so I don't think it's fair to look down on someone's home.

I don't think Sanders knows or fully understands Corbyn's absolute hatred of Israel. Sanders himself is a Jew. I don't think they'd get along in the same party.

My uncle lives in Swansea & it is a dump. He moved there from Hampshire years ago because it was so cheap, he bought his house for like £9000 so he bought another 4 or 5 & rents them out

This made me chuckle & my cousin worked at the DVLA too lol

Dunno how he cares foreign policy that it'd change his views. Though Sanders recently stated "the occupation must end"; though that just puts him on the Israeli left

Bernie Sanders, in video to left-wing Israeli party, says ‘occupation must end’ | Jewish Telegraphic Agency

Didn't Corbyn praise Hamas once? This video of Sanders shouting down a questioner sympathetic to Hamas is amusing:

Sanders lived in Israel for a year; on a kibbutz. A friend's mom did similar in the 70s; she grew up not far from the NYC neighborhood where Bernie Sanders grew up and the same high school. Another self-segregated neighborhood. Friend said a lot (including his mom) in there were children of "survivors"; as in Holocaust survivors.
