What's the temp? 65F?

I live in (semi) basement in uni which retains cool temps. The room has decent amount of granite as well. AC usually turned on for like half an hour at night (just before bed, around 19-20C/66-68F when I fell asleep), and the cool temp remains till waking hours (still 72-74). once I fell asleep and forgot to turn off the ac, and woke up in the middle of the night shivering. (Must be around or even below 65F)

What is your opinion of the Parliament House in Helsinki? It's Nationalist Classical architecture, but sometimes blamed as Fascist architecture, or even "not even Hitler could've visioned something like this". What say you?

I wouldn't say it's attractive, but it does look quite imposing.

It's okay - a bit bulky.

Yes, I'd say it's ok at most, but bulky and a bit boring. Quite indimidating when standing at the front doors. Should democracy be intimidating? I think not.

Inside it's quite nice:

And despite its massive size, it holds only half of the MP's work rooms. The second half are in The Annex, built in 2004:

Kind of curious, but am I the only regular poster around here who doesn't live in a metropolitan area (MSA)?

Leeds Town Hall is better than both, of course.

I like the first Finnish building but it's not really elegant. What do you think of the Massachusetts legislative building?
