I get dreams all the time that Miami sees some historical cold snap, with highs of 18 F and lows around 0 F. lol

That would be sweet. Atlanta would have lows of -40 F, Nashville of -50 F.

I can empathize with you. If you want to shorten your life, live and drive in NJ. Surrounded by cretins here.

I've had a few dreams this year that I was watching frequent cloud-to-ground lightning strikes. Sometimes it was surprisingly vivid and realistic. Don't recall any about an impossible weather event like yours.

I once had a dream that snow was being forecast here in May, lol.

I also have dreams about tornadoes striking, and severe weather outbreaks being predicted.

Lol, I once dreamt that I was getting snow in Paris in May. Also dreamt about epic thunderstorms only to wake up on stratus laden skies and temps in the teens °C.

A beach day for me today - actually working, but have to wait for the tide to go down before I can leave. Getting paid for waiting though, so no complaints , apart from no coffee stand here.

Interesting stuff in the Vantaa centre. They are really trying to make the administrative centre into a 'real' one instead of just another suburb.

As you can see the houses are like being shot with a shotgun. The darker blue area is mainly residental. Old one or two story commercial buildings and warehouses have been demolished and being replaced by much more dense residental with commercial services on ground level. Yellow is commercial, violet public services.

Where the heart is it looked like this in 2012: https://www.google.fi/maps/@60.29310...7i13312!8i6656

And in March 2015 like this:

The old red building right will be demolished at some point. The massive striped building is the new rail and bus terminal + shopping centre + offices + parking:

On the east side of the railway they are planning something like this:
