I've never criticized anyone for calling 30 C hot. You must have me confused with someone else.

5-6 C average highs in winter is rather mild. That's warm enough to not get consistent snow and a long lasting snowpack. Sure, it's not warm but it sure as hell isn't that cold.

I never said it was a "problem". But you were completely denying something you literally JUST said. Which is dumb.

I didn't deny it, I made a mistake in the original post, then changed it (and said so). How the **** is that denying something?

Bridgeport winters are rough but they could be worse. At least its not Rochester or Syracuse

Saying and I quote "I can't call a cold climate cold?" and then saying you didn't say that IS denying something. How is that so hard to understand?

Motueka is an interesting contrast to the other three.

Yes. If I had to live in a non-wintery climate it would be Motueka. Perfect summers, precipitation and comfortable rest of the year.

I know that not everyone cares about cupuacu and chirimoya, but a lot of these tropical fruis are very regiolanized and are very hard to find in cold climates. If you go to your supermarket you're not going to be finding these fruits

Valparaiso look nice, other than too dry.

If I were to choose five of those climates, I would choose Winnipeg, Chicago, Bridgeport, Lexington and Saskatoon.
