Mercedes has a perfect Subtropical climate imo.
It summer days are hot but confortable enough to sleep during nights, during it cool shots from Patagonia can down temperatures into low 10s,and hot air from north to high 30s,although they are not common.
Winters are frosty ,with some cold shots who may bring lows below zero for at least 10-20 days in the cold season, snow are rare but can happen during intense cold waves like 2007.
I realize this was one of the coldest winters on record in the Southern Cone so it's kinda nitpicking, but in an A+ climate freezes should be at most "a couple of times a year". But even so, it's a solid A climate!

Last June was quite cold, you remember that I posted temperatures map in the SH thread? the interior parts of Uruguay gets a lot of freezes every winter, that reflects on vegetation there, when I start looking,I was impressed how dead their river forests look in winter,at least 50-70% of trees are deciduous, most from late May until late August, thoses freezes can really damage them.
Thoses photos was taken on a river close to Mercedes,i've found them in Google Earth, they are from the same place in summer and winter.
Summers seem a bit hot and consistently humid (our summers are superior). Winters are very good, and better than ours (temp-wise), except their sunshine hours are too low.
