Their average temps look horrid to me... it doesn't warm up enough in summer and it doesn't get cold enough to make things interesting. I have visited before and thought almost everything about the city sucked, including the weather lol.

+1. Is one of the most boring climates of North America.

There was a thread with a challenge between SF and Bilbao (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilbao#Climate) and many people choosed SF rather than Bilbao. I don't even know why, if SF has a F climate.

As long as you're not too close to the coast it looks fine - loads of sunshine. I bet the skies are often very blue.

Because even if the weather is "boring", it's nice being able to be outside comfortably throughout the year with only a thin jacket in winter.

Yeah you don't have to be too far away from the Bay for the summers to be considerably sunnier & warmer...

Weather is great away from the city. Average highs in the summer south of SFO, east of Oakland, and north of Sausalito are dry mid-70s to upper 80s.

Local news here has "microclimate weather" because of the differences.

The city center is ****, but you only have to go about 50km inland for some of the most beautiful climates America has to offer.

Sunshine tally no further inland than the east of the city is pretty good.

SF has one of the better climates in the US in my opinion. Sure the summers suck big time but you don't have to go very far inland to get decent summers. Also, winter is way better than most places in the US. I would take SF any day over places like NYC, Washington DC, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver and even Atlanta and Dallas.
