So OK ,here we have two climates at the same latitudes N and S .

except , the WINTER months of the Scillies 49N are WARMER than the summer months of Port aux Francais 49S .

Or January warmer in the Scillies (summer ) v January (winter )in PaF

What the hell is going on here ?

If you compare Bouvet Island (54S) with somewhere like Morecambe (54N) the difference is even more stark!

Bouvet island

The peak temperature of 14 °C (57 °F) was recorded in March 1980, caused by intense sun radiation.

Climates in the southern hemisphere are colder for their latitude than climates in the northern hemisphere, overall - it is most likely due to the fact that there is a lot more land percentage in the northern hemisphere and land heats up far more than sea.

Any southerlies hitting those subantarctic islands will have travelled all the way from the South Pole or thereabouts, when it hits the ocean those are frighteningly cold and in addition to that Africa is too far away from Kergeulen to bring any north-westerlies all the way down there.

Except for the eastern coast of Argentina, climates in the Southern Hemisphere usually have cooler summers than most of the Northern Hemisphere, so that's normal.
