Born in Minnesota so like another here on this thread in the womb was my first experience. when we moved our first house with my 4 month old I had to call husband to pick up milk and a snowblower, so that was my son's first winter. It was the Halloween blizzard of 1991. We got 28" on snow in one night. Snow drift in my driveway was 4 ft high.

The were out of snowblowers.

I don't remember, lol.

I was born in Dubuque, Iowa and there was an enormous blizzard going on at the time I was being born...and it kept going for the rest of the night.

My parents moved out of Iowa when I was 1.5 years old and then to the snow belt in Upstate NY so I was pretty much always around snow until my dad took a job transfer down to South Carolina during my junior year in H.S.--in August of all months.

Even though I lived in a very oceanic place as a little kid (little town near Brest, France), I still remember heavy snow episodes back then. I still remember walking home in the snow one night because the train had been delayed sometime in the mid-80s. I had probably experienced it before as an infant, my family used to go to the Alps or Pyrenees most winters, since they love the mountains. Also, it was the 80s so the winters were snowier back then, even Britanny had seen snow several times.
