Buffalo because it has a much better winter than Hanoi... It also has a better chance of a white Christmas than my location or Hanoi...

-7c lows are too mild for winter; I prefer much colder.

100" of snow is great, but 150-250" would be better.

If every winter was like 2014-15 there, then it'd be a lot better. Hope that clears things up
Buffalo does have a pretty good climate but the summers can be a bummer when it gets too hot.

I agree that the 2014-15 winter there was a particularly good one We had a really good one here this past year.

The Tug Hill area a bit east of Pulaski, NY gets insane amounts of snow but the climate is still a Dfb one.

There are places in the Adirondacks that have climates similar to what you are looking for

Here is another climate that I find wonderful and seems to be perfect for your criteria of cool year round and lots of snow:

Hey thanks! Yea, for sure I'm a big fan of the high peaks region of the adirondacks and I'd undoubtedly love Labrador's climate as well. In fact most of eastern canada seems like a great place for weather, except maybe parts of Nfld and NS which have a milder oceanic influence (like St. John's).

Let’s compare London Great Britain to Carlsbad New Mexico. These comparisons are crazy
